WHAT IS SMLIGHT SLZB-07, SLZB-07p7 and SLZB-07p10 ZIGBEE ADAPTER?

SMLIGHT SLZB-07/07p7/07p10 are the USB devices that serve as a central bridge for managing communication in a Zigbee network. SLZB-07 can also serve a Matter-over-Thread network. The devices are designed specifically for Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA Home Assistant, ensuring smooth work out-of-the-box. These devices have the smallest size and reachest packing.

Q1: Do these coordinators work with Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA?
A1: Yes, all models work with both Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA.

Q2: Which adapter should I choose? SLZB-07 or SLZB-07p7 or SLZB-07p10??
A2: Basically, each of them can fulfill your needs and work as USB Zigbee adapter. However, there are some differences. SLZB-07p7 and SLZB-07p10 firmware does not have router mode. So if you are going to use these Zigbee USB adapters as routers – better to take SLZB-07, as it can have router firmware.

Q3: Can I connect multiple adapters to the same instance of Home Assistant?
A3: Yes, you can. But you need to run multiple instances of ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. Moreover, with USB adapters run simultaneously as coordinator under one server, Zigbee can interference. We would suggest using network based adapters, like SLZB-06 series for multiple instances of Home Assistant/ZHA.
